The WorkInPrivate desktop application is designed with privacy as a core feature:

• Local processing: All content generation happens on your device using AI models running through Ollama. Your prompts, inputs, and generated content are processed locally and are never sent to our servers.
• No telemetry: The application does not collect usage data, crash reports, or analytics of any kind.
• No accounts: The application does not require you to create an account or sign in.
• Optional web search: If you enable the web search feature, search queries are sent to third-party search providers. This feature is optional and can be disabled. We do not log or store your search queries.

When you visit www.workinprivate.com, we may collect:

• Standard server logs: Your IP address, browser type, and pages visited may be logged by our hosting provider (GitHub Pages) as part of standard web server operations.
• No cookies: This website does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics scripts.

4. Payment Processing

When you purchase WorkInPrivate, your payment is processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. During this process:

• Stripe collects your payment information (credit/debit card details, billing address, email) directly. We do not see or store your full card number.
• We receive from Stripe: your name, email address, purchase details, and a transaction identifier.
• We use this information solely to fulfill your order and provide customer support (e.g., processing refunds).
• Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

5. Third-Party AI Models

WorkInPrivate uses Ollama to run AI models locally on your device. These models are downloaded from Ollama's model registry. While the models run locally, the initial download of models is subject to Ollama's privacy practices. Once downloaded, models operate entirely offline.

To be explicit, we do not collect:

• Your prompts or inputs to the application
• Content generated by the application
• Usage patterns or application analytics
• Device information beyond what's in standard server logs
• Location data

7. Data Retention

Purchase records (name, email, transaction details) are retained for as long as necessary to provide customer support and comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax records). You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
